Laboratory and monitoring

The lab carries out chemical, microbiological and geomechanical analysis on the air, water, soil and waste matrices, and also carries out environmental monitoring.

  • water analysis (drinking-, ground- and surface water)
  • Waste analysis and classification
  • analysis of agricultural-land soils and those from surveys
  • biomass analysis
  • microbiological analysis
  • geomechanical tests
  • emissions into the atmosphere
  • analysis of air in the work environment
  • assessment of noise and noise pollution
  • analysis of landfill gas
  • sampling of environmental matrices and hazardous substances

The activities are carried out by highly-qualified technicians experienced in the environmental field, to guarantee absolute reliability of our services. In the analytical field, we are specialized in the research and analytical determination of organic and inorganic micropollutants. To ensure the technical competence of the facility and the quality of the analytical data, the test lab takes part in interlaboratory circuits. Methods are adopted according to international standards (DIN, EN, EPA, ISO, NIOSH, UNI). We rely on the experience and constant updating – technical and training – to offer appropriate solutions for all types of environmental issues and safety at work.

The chemical laboratory is equipped with the following advanced instrumentation:

  • ICP-OES
  • GC (Gas Chromatography) with FID (Flame Ionization Detector)
  • GC/MS
  • HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) with DAD (Diode Array Detector)
  • LC (Liquid Chromatography) for Ion Exchange Chromatography
  • Spectrophotometers with UV-VIS detectors
  • Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzer
  • Automatic extractor
